How Xeomin Works:
Xeomin works by blocking nerve impulses that cause muscle contractions (aka those lines on your forehead). The formula is double filtered to remove unnecessary proteins that are prevalent in other neuromodulators (think Botox). Because it’s made with purer ingredients, you’ll get the same results every treatment—so you don’t have to keep increasing your units (and budget!). Once Xeomin® sets in, your muscle can't move, which reduces the appearance of wrinkles. When you come to Chapter, you’ll discuss the areas you’d like to have treated with an aesthetic advisor. Then, a nurse practitioner will administer a small amount of the toxin into the targeted areas. In less than 30 minutes, you’ll be on your way!
What to Expect

3-5 days before your treatment:
- Avoid alcohol (we’ll pop the bubbly later).
- Avoid blood thinners like Advil, Aspirin & Aleve.
2 days before your treatment:
- Put the breaks on applying retinol.
You’ll sit down in one of our comfy chairs, maybe even chat up your nurse practitioner, and before you know it, your treatment will be complete! Seriously, it takes less than 30 minutes.
Your nurse practitioner will give you a series of small injections directly into the targeted muscle groups. You might experience some discomfort like a small pinch during the procedure, but nothing you can’t handle.
Now you just have to wait a few days to a week and your results will kick in! (Results vary person to person). Enjoy your smooth skin for 3-4 months post Xeomin® treatment.
